Bobby Jindal was the Republican Indian American governor of Louisiana. I don't know enough about him to praise or criticize him.

Dinesh D'Souza is so prominent in the Republican Party that they procured him a presidential pardon. While Dinesh's excuse of "Democrats get away with breaking the law I broke all the time" might be true, I'm actually not cool with a foreigner coming here and breaking our campaign finance laws. And I'm even less cool with foreigners coming here and making films about how we should all hate American hero Andrew Jackson because he was a racist. Oh and Dinesh is also the one who got the brilliant Samuel Francis fired for the thought crime of speaking with Jared Taylor. Indian American Republicans were practicing cancel culture before it was cool.

Now none of that means that Indian Americans aren't welcome in the Republican Party or that I hate them. I actually have two Indian ex girlfriends (both of whom champion progressive sociopolitical issues). But don't pretend it's Republicans fault that Indians vote Democrat.
