Yeah it’s the fake sweetener that they use. It is called maltitol. The fake sweeteners that they use in diet drinks doesn’t have a laxative effect, but I don’t those sweeteners don’t work in solid food for some reason.

I had some jelly belly’s once that tasted a little off. I looked at the packaging and realized I had accidentally bought the sugar free kind. Then I saw right below the logo the warning that they can have a laxative effect. Let’s just say that afterwards I had a lot of time sitting down on my phone to do research on what causes this. I probably lost 8 pounds in water weight that day.
