Edited for context: I'm not calling you a liar, I'm saying that that argument is lying by ommision. I've been seeing it online for 20 years. Japan apologists always trot out the oil embargo as if it is both the cause and justification of Japan's actions, conveniently leaving out the events that led to the embargo. The same people usually call the atomic bombs unnecessary and war crimes. I get tired of it.
