For an apples to apples comparison, they should be breaking gun violence down by ethnicity in other countries as well.

Of course they should, but they cannot.

The problem is that the vast majority of countries on this planet are far more racially homogenous than the United States. This is well hidden if you try to find the actual numbers.

Take Canada, for instance. Go google for Canada demographics. You will get all kinds of links to breakdowns by province or ethnicity (breaking whites into country of origin), but you have to dig really deep and do the math yourself to find out that Canada is 4.23% Black and 1.4% Hispanic.

Europe's demographic numbers are hidden even better since there are no Hispanics there, and Middle-East/North Africa (MENA) is categorized separately from Sub-Saharan Africa.
