But the Orthodox Jews are higher than any Christian denomination. (Note that numbers in the previous link are from the 2012 election, thus the high Mormon numbers for Romney.) Some churches are very left-wing.
You can see the mostly (but not entirely) Orthodox Jewish precincts in places like Lakewood, NJ go for Trump >90% That's remarkable because those precincts still have 5-10% non-Orthodox (mainly token Black and Latino) residents.
So the conclusion may be that, Jesus or not, some other aspects of traditional religion are "the answer". (But, it seems, not Hinduism or Buddhism...)
