As I read it, they tried to claim the layers were ‘automatically generated’ because they used an “Apple Computer” to make the scan, and then the author of the article debunked that idea by going through all the top Apple scanning control applications and showing how each built, imported, and exported .pdfs and .eps files in ways that either didn’t use ‘layers’ or, even in cases where they might possibly do so under certain rare settings configurations, generated layers that were organized/layed out very differently that the certificate file.
I don’t remember all the specifics of the death, other than I remember that the photographic evidence was impossible to conclusively prove the ‘diver’ wasn’t an optical illusion. By that time Trump had dropped the issue and moved on, and it wasn’t really any use trying to combat the ‘consensus’.
