The reason I do not even reply to these part switch circle jerk threads is because no one seems to know the full history of American politics, a topic I spent a lot of time focusing on in college. If you brought a modern day republican into the 1950s even, they would not align with either democrats or republicans.

It is why the party switch argument is bullshit. It would be like saying Microsoft and Apple switched companies when Apple started offering cloud storage.

I recommend reading up on Herbert Hoover, and even though he is republican, check up on his stances and see where you would place that clown. Then continue for other presidents of the time.
