FFS dude, the guy was trying to protect the community he worked in. Whether you completely agree with his motives for being there or not, he clearly was not looking to kill somebody. He did everything he could to avoid using his weapon.
This kid is facing 165 years and a mandatory life sentence. This is a crucifixion of the 2nd amendment plain and simple.
Edit: This isn't about if he should or shouldn't have been there, this isn't about if he was old enough to have the gun, this is about: Do you have the right to defend yourself when people are violently attacking you?
