I have introduced quite literally hundreds of new shooters to the range. Many, none too enthused (they came along with a family member or friend who was participating). I can say that excepting the few that simply refused to shoot, the remainder gained respect for the tool at-the-least. And many more lost their fear of simply handling a firearm. The ones that didn'y participate, if they remained in the area, I made sure that there was a neutered firearm or few close by, and by the end of the day, I had them holding a gun in their hands.

As a matter of fact, I'm teaching a firearm oriented course this morning... yawn. Went to Manchester to see Trump last night, so I am still amped up... hehehe.
