Never mind the fact that Joseph was actually raised by his mother, I don't agree with the assessment in this post. I was raised by a single mother, and today I'm a fit, athletic patriot with morals and values. I never slept around, never treated women like objects; instead I've chosen quality and have been with the same woman going on six years this September. I'm pro-America, pro-police, and don't have any time for the BS festering about this glorious nation.
I don't know the circumstances regarding Arnold's children. I have read his autobiography, which is excellent, but it only covers up to 2012. Whatever led to his son's unhealthy lifestyle I wish him well overcoming it. However, when it comes to the topic of the differences between maternal and paternal parenting, a truly believe an intact loving family is ideal; nevertheless, I've seen my fair share of messed up friends who came from couples who constantly bickered and fought.
I believe what truly matters is strong parenting complete with discipline and values, and that one strong, dedicated parent prevails over two lousy ones. I hope those reading this don't regard the concept of a single mother as some lazy woman who views her kid or kids as a burden, prioritizes her time searching for men, neglects her boys by pumping them full of medication because she can't deal with them properly, and spends her weekends drinking wine. This stereotype may delve into a pool of truth regarding the blue cities burning across the land, but there are plenty of strong, capable women, like my conservative mother who rose up to be both mother and father to me.
