FWIW, although Spez evilly and severely restricted influx of new subscribers through various means, I don't think Reddit's T_D user count was fake. The "Reach" or "Ads sub" number (6M) was where others from the overall Reddit also visited the sub (from r/all). Otherwise Shillary's sub also had a million subscribers (which is plainly false because even lefties can't be bothered with her sub). hillaryclinton sub's real count at the time was only around 30,000.

I quote from one of those: "There is a lot weirdness in those numbers, but we are not being singled out. We need more data."

You can also check the user count for thedonald.win. Although we're growing incredibly fast and I expect we'll greatly surpass 6M long-term, I bet the total user count is currently quite a bit lower than 6M, despite having higher user activity (posts/comments) than we did on Reddit.
