I am going to give the advise I give to everyone who works in these types of environments. STOP complaining for one. Smile as if everything is ok and doesn't bother you. Be proactive. Start thinking ahead at every turn.
This is a long game and not for those who have short fuses and can't handle it.
This is the strategy my brother in law used against his employer who had workplace bullies of all colors.
Record those incidents of blm/antifa chants for evidence.(IMPORTANT ACTUAL EVIDENCE)
Record any interactions with coworkers if they approach your cubicle. They sell very inexpensive audio/visual devices on Amazon that can easily be concealed. Document everything on a hand written journal or email yourself notes.Email is easier to track and has time/date stamp. (VERY IMPORTANT).
Make a folder on your email.(IMPORTANT TO KEEP COMPILED RECORDS)
Go see a therapist every week for 6-8 weeks on how this is creating anger issues, anxiety, depression. Be sure to not say anything about hurting yourself or anyone as this may back fire on you. Just say how much it hurts you for being of another race and gender etc. Read up on what depression/anxiety, shame is and the symptoms and remember those buzz words. Before you see her rinse your mouth with a shot of whiskey (DO NOT DRINK IT) and dip your finger in the whiskey bottle then rub it on your shirt and pants. The smell will permeate in the therapist office. HE/SHE will note the smell of alcohol and ask you if you have been drinking more often. Say "YES BECAUSE OF STRESS". However, do not act drunk or disorderly. (SUPER VITAL WHEN YOU FILE A WORKERS COMPENSATION CLAIM). They sell miniature bottle anywhere. Just make the investment and take one to the bathroom each time you see the therapist and rinse with it and splash it on your shirt. (Be sure to have an extra shirt to change after you see your therapist, do not drive with the smell of alcohol on you)
8WEEKS LATER
File a hostile workplace complaint with HR. Remember HR is not your friend no matter how much anyone says they are there to look out for you. Nope they are there to prevent the EMPLOYER from getting sued. So any information that you give them can and will be used against you. IF you filed a complaint make sure you have evidence of said incident. Look at your employee handbook for the section on hostile work environment, harassment, sexual harassment etc. (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT).
Don't show all your cards when you file the complaint. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT send them all the information you compiled. Your employer can say why didn't you tell us earlier on this date or that date etc. Read your handbook and know it like the bible it will help navigate how you will approach it. Also, read the laws in your state about filing workers compensation for hostile workplace.
After you successfully have filed a workers compensation claim against your employer and the judge rules in your favor, go hard and sue each employee in civil court. This may take some time but you should really consider doing it.
Good luck....
