Yes. It’s leads to massive amounts of theft. I live in SF and my car gets broken into at least 3 times a year. I don’t even leave anything in my car and they still break the windows just to look through my trunk.

The police don’t bother to try and stop anyone because 1: it would just be a citation and 2: if they did go to jail, they will just be let out by our radical leftist DA Chesa Boudin who has zero experience as a prosecutor and refuses to prosecute anything because he believes in reformative justice or some bullshit. SF literally has the highest amount of property crime/theft out of all major American cities because there’s no consequence here for stealing
