"Freedom of the press" is an outdated and obsolete concept. The Founders could never have imagined electronically transmitted information or the performance of modern high-capacity printing presses. It's time for some common sense restrictions on mainstream media. No more "anonymous sources" or half-truths. Corporate newsmedia should be prohibited from reporting anything as factual or even potentially factual unless it can be independently verified by any layman outside the media.
