Just watched his first post-“Spotify Deal” podcast today, and he admits 8-9 minutes in to Adam Curry that Spotify is all over, and hands on touching everything, working together with Joe on creating the show.

His show is gonna suck even more than it usually did. So they aren’t going to have to cancel him, they are just gonna hijack it and take it over to make it whatever they want.

They’ve done it everything from political news aggregators like Drudge, to long storied pop culture media like Star Wars.

I knew it wasn’t going to just be some licensing deal...not for 100 million.
