IDK, as a rap fan I can tell you that it's not all "MONEY CARS CLOTHES HOES", and there is a fair volume of life knowledge in good rap. Granted, that's not the standard, the standard is a low bar. But the real lyricists out there rap about real situations where you should have certain principles, and listening to it can be growthful (especially to those fans who don't have any strong role models).
