Of course it is!!!!! With the fires of suspicious origin and length of duration and origin, over and over in the last couple of years, and hydroxychloquine not being allowed by Dem governors to be prescribed by our doctors if we need it, and being told, lied to, that HCQ doesn't work, when it clearly does work great.

Also, I live here and I got a letter last Summer from So Cal Edison to expect the power to be shut off every Summer from now on. It was going to be the "new normal" basically. It was not due to shortage of energy back then in that letter, it was to lessen SUPPOSEDLY the chance of wildfires. IDK if they mentioned old, dangerous Edison equipment or not as a reason, I doubt it. But ridiculous. The state is huge. Cutting off an area even the size of Riverside County or San Bernardino County will not help. They can't (we hope) predict where a fire would have started and if it prevented a fire from starting.

I just read that one of them Garcetti maybe? had said yesterday that he (whoever it was) didn't have any regret abt the solar or wind idea/push because there are batteries that back up the energy for cloudy or windless days (apparently still not enough tho). Then he said also, the fires are proof of climate change happening, so yeah, it is all a great idea.

I have lived here nearly all my life. There have ALWAYS been forest fires, wildfires. If they are any different now it is for two reasons. ONE, is that they have been "caused" -- to push "climate change" and just to destroy and kill I almost feel, and they are not happening naturally. The OTHER is due to the past governor's law that for years, (I almost feel that was intentional, too - to cause this problem!!!) the state and private land owners were forbidden from clearing even DEAD TREES, dry weeds and underbrush, and branches, and just general clearing of ANYTHING like that, that accumulates year after year off of any land in the State. This was EVEN ON YOUR OWN PROPERTY - no cleaning up, clearing of dry, flammable tinder and brush which was not going to do a damned thing to hurt the land or environment if it had been cleared and burned safely even, or disposed of, so that there were fire breaks (and what even happened to fire breaks up on the mountains that they used to make with bulldozers) and less fuel if a fire did happen, which have ALWAYS HAPPENED when it was hot and dry, or broke out when we had Santa Ana Winds kick up in October and January usually, not the middle of summer.

And another thing, we seldom find out what caused any of these fires in the last few years. I heard it was a car accident, a flaming garbage truck, "migrants" living in the bushes, making a camp fire, and old, improperly maintained electric company equipment, etc . But then they always change the reasons a few times and we never find out the true reason. Weird, huh?

Anyway, no fires that I listed that actually supposedly started the fires in last few years, except the electric company faulty equipment which "might or might not" be a true reason,, would have been prevented by cutting off our power in various parts of the state for any length of time!!!
