My girlfriends cousin died in the elevator. She was told to use the stairs, but she was unfortunately to fat to use that many flights of stairs. She waited for the elevator and her coworkers made it out.....she never did. Her parents died before they found her only remains of her thumb in 2004.

Also her father was in the Chase Bank working on his birthday and when the towers collapsed he saved people from being hit with debris. He got recognized by Mayor Rudy Giuliani and was given an award for his actions like many others that day.
