To add to my other comment and based off the reaction it got......
I guess now we're against private property rights and I guess privately owned business aren't private property anymore.....
We have apparently completely flipped our feelings on this from just 2 short years ago, when we all rabidly defended a private business owners personal choice rights In their own privately owned business to only bake cakes for the people they want to make cakes for and that they could discriminate anyway they personally chose in regards to who they make cakes for............
But if you're okay with threads like this and what these people are doing, then that means you are completely against the court's ruling on the bakery case that said it's their privately owned business and they have a right to serve whoever they want to... you would no longer defend that business again if it happened today, because if you did that would obviously make you a complete fucking hypocrite...
This is genuinely the first time I've seen our side be so hypocritical about something... It's really fucked up. we are supposed to be the defender of private rights and the defenders of private property rights, which now by a court ruling that we defended with our very souls gives the business the right to serve who they want to and serve how they want to serve them on their own private property...
Apparently that's just out the fucking door now, less than 2 years later, when the tables are turned and the private businesses are doing something we don't like as opposed to something we did like.... Go ahead and prove me wrong, I dare you...
I fucking hate masks and I don't wear them anywhere at all, but guess what? That doesn't mean I'm a fucking hypocrite... because I don't go against the very thing we've defended for so many years... I simply don't shop at those fucking places anymore, it's that goddamn simple. And voila, just like magic, I don't have to be a hypocrite....
