I had listened to Trump going at it for years with Hannity and others about the wars so I had sincere hopes he would be able to do something. I didn't think it was likely considering what he was up against. If you've been paying attention, you'll know there are trillions of dollars at stake and an entrenched deep state.

Consider that the Army's UCP camouflage cost the taxpayer $5B in testing, development and deployment and it was replaced in +/- 10 years. Consider all of the equipment that we paid for, we're leaving over there. Sure, some of that equipment includes Humvees, and it's a fitting death but that's money taxpayers spent to buy it. Why can't we sell them for scrap to the highest bidder over there instead of giving them away? There are ship breakers in India, why not Humvee Breakers in Iraq? New industry. Better yet, rent one of those giant machines that chew up vehicles and ship the humvees back in a bulk carrier and let US manufacturers bid on the scrap.

I could go on about military waste for days so i'll spare you.

Consider that the Army's current ridiculous camouflage cost the taxpayer $5B in testing, development and deployment and it is now on the chopping block to be replaced because it is 'ineffective.' (translated: it sucks) Consider all of the equipment that we paid for, we're leaving over there. Sure, some of that equipment includes Humvees, and it's a fitting death but that's money taxpayers spent to buy it.
