Freedom doesn't include the freedom to do things that people disagree with and keep associating with them against their will.

Also I love the argument that because organized crime in the prohibition was used as an excuse to expand government, then the problem was us trying to get rid of alcohol... and not the fact that we allowed people in our society who'd run a black market with gangs of murderous thugs in response to that.
