"Your voter registration will become effective 30 days after it is received on your 18th birthday, whichever is later. Your registration must be effective on or before an election day in order to vote in that election."

The typo above (the lack of "or") is in the form itself.

I sent my registration in a little over 30 days ago and was only able to pull my information up on their online voter registration checking page late last week.

You're cutting it pretty close.

But provided they're aren't problems with the mail and they actually receive it very soon you'll probably make it.
