I agree but wouldn't be surprised if Trump doesn't even remember saying that. We only glimpse a tiny portion of the iceberg that is his daily life, the man has more important things on his mind than the lies the fake news media twists out of all shape, form and context. We've all had that in the back of our minds for months but he's moved on and delivered a generic denial because he knows it's all bullshit anyway. At least that's my take, could be wrong, of course.
