I really like this analysis. But given that Rowling is an SJW (despite her mini-rebellion against trans), do you think she wrote it with that knowledge? Or do you think the truth shines through despite her actual intentions?

I guess it all depends on your view of authority. The nice, kind authority of the Ministry of Magic appeals to soft libs. You know, the people who know what's best for you, and want to make sure you're only doing and thinking the correct things.

It's also segregationist but whatever. I have more problems with Harry Potter fans than I do with the actual books, which I read and enjoyed.
