A lot of people seem to have absolutely no idea just what type of infrastructure it takes to run a service like strong DDOS protection.... This ain't something that you can throw together in the garage....

You're talking about millions and millions and millions of dollars to build a company like that, at least one that has software that actually functions properly most of the time....

None of that's to even mention that whenever you get sent to that page and it's straight up tells you that cloudflare is working normally and that the problem is server side, well then that's not a DDOS attack... which means it's generally a bandwidth issue simply because so many people are logged on at the same time, which makes sense when you look at our traffic numbers that doggos releases every few weeks....

I'm pretty sure the mods would tell us if we were being successfully DDOSed very often at all, which we really haven't been successfully DDOSed very much since the inception of the site. We have, however, seen an absolutely fucking absurd increase in daily unique users and page views.
