I totally agree that both the slap and pepper spray deployment look defensive.

Denver Post recently removed the second photo from their slide show on this mornings article, it is definitely damning evidence of self defense on victims part.

It is also clear that there are more photos before the slap that we havent seen. They were taken by a news photographer who is seen in video right on top of this the entire time snapping photos.
