First amendment: ".... no prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." There's nothing in the first amendment that says you can't follow so and so religion. There's nothing about christianity. There's nothing in the entire constitution that says anything similar to the ideas you express.

You know how in 1984 people get arrested for thought crimes? That would be like arresting people because you think they may or may not have blind, unthinking loyalty to the regime in the eyes of some people, but they haven't broken a single law. I'm good with locking people up if they actually do something wrong.

Do I like Islam? No. Do I think individuals have the right to assemble or practice whatever religion they want freely until the point they break the law and get arrested? Yes.

You speak about hypocrisy and being better. Yeah I would think it's hypocrisy to claim you hate the world of 1984, disparage China and the left for punishing people over thought crimes, words etc, and advocating it yourself. It works both ways.

You know how in 1984 people get arrested for thought crimes? That would be like arresting people because you think they may or may not have full loyalty to the regime in the eyes of some people, but they haven't broken a single law. I'm good with locking people up if they actually do something wrong.
