Reagan won Minnesota in 1984.

But, the Iron Range (NE MN) was deep blue back then, and they held back reporting their results until very late at night (actually the dark hours of the next morning). At the last minute, Mondale got just enough votes to win MN -- the margin was about 3,200 votes.

I think this is a common form of vote fraud. Precincts in metro Detroit do the same thing, but they underestimated the amount of votes that were needed in 2016. Or maybe they just didn't find enough people already registered that didn't vote.

Just once, I'd like to see an investigation of a precinct that turns in their votes much later than everyone else. It would be laborious, but the solution is relatively simple: get a sworn or notarized from every voter that allegedly voted, confirming they actually voted in the election.
