Yes. I'm not sure about if it was a the right-wing world; I'm a classic liberal that isn't wild about neocons or neoliberals. I like a lot of things about Trump and I'm on board, but most of my life I've been in left-wing circles.
Good paying jobs has been a consistent messaging point for the left, with the idea that things like Starbucks or fast food simply isn't a career that pays well enough. Before the era of trying to make minimum wage high enough to support a family, it was understood on the left that these jobs were entry level, and there was a focus on creating more "good-paying jobs" that would allow workers to upgrade to.
The full-on embrace of unrestricted immigration, both illegal and through work-visa exploits, significantly changed the focus there. While lip service is still paid, the agendas of the democrats run directly counter to labor interests. It's one of the reasons I like Trump; he understands domestic labor interests and that the working class is a vital demographic for the health of any nation. Democrats used to understand this (hence the traditional support from labor unions) and appreciate the value of creating good-paying jobs, but have lost their way in the twisted halls of communism.
Biden is from an era of which the democrats actually took such things seriously. While they have since moved away from it, Biden is declining in mental state and is reverting back to his old ways. That's why he keeps talking about running for re-election in the Senate, making racist statements etc. I have no doubt that, in many of his brain addled episodes, he truly desires to bring back good-paying jobs. Too bad his party is dead set against what it would take to do so.
