9/11 New Yorker here: I'm not quick into conspiracy theories. Don't believe that 9/11 was an inside job. But never believed that Osama Bin Laden was behind the attacks either. Reason for my doubts is this: I clearly remember the days after 9/11. Osama Bin Laden denied any involvement. CNN, Fox News covered it. If you know one thing about terrorists then it is this: They LOVE to take credit for their actions. Sometimes they even claim responsibility when they have no involvement at all. Around 2-3 weeks after 9/11, the message in the news changed. CIA overheard phone calls during which Osama Bin Laden boasting about the successful attacks. Few weeks later he allegedly claimed full responsibility openly.
This never made sense to me. FBI, CIA and the Bush administration were all under enormous pressure to solve the crime of the century. I have no idea who planed and executed the attacks, but I doubt that it was OBL.
