If I play devil's advocate for a moment... Let's say he does manage to take out, say, 80% of the swamp. Years later, after GEOTUS is long gone, what prevents it from gaining another foot hold?
The depressing part of it seems to be that if another group of elites want to bend the rules and do some below board dealings, unless the way in which the US is governed sees radical improvements, it will be just as easy to pull the wool over our eyes and go back to business as usual. Because there's little to no accountability.
If the actors are susceptible to (and in many cases desire) bribes and coercion, is it possible to keep the stage/play clean by relying on our obviously corrupt and ineffective "checks and balances" watchdog system?
