MY PERSONAL OPINION ONLY: The issue they're dancing around is that one of the innocent victims is Natalie Biden (Hunter and Joe are always creeping on her and they have Hunter facetiming her naked while he smokes crack etc. when she was 14.) So they're trying to figure out how to bust Hunter and Joe for pedo shit without hurting Natalie. The internet already figured it out though so they might as well just go public with it.
