What ever you decide to do, do NOT do the drop-off. If you do ballot dropoff, it will count as a provisional ballot and will NOT be counted toward the election unless the results are showing it being too close that they need to go to those. Also, the mail union endorsed Biden... I wouldn't trust the mailman with my ballot. I only trust my ballot that I fill out on my own and I feed it into the machine on my own. Do not let the poll worker do it. I live in an incredibly blue county, I don't trust any of them.

Also, masks are not needed in Ohio (legally). They will harass you if you don't have one. I did early voting and I had to vote segregated from everybody, and the police officer manning the door harassed me. They may even tell you that you have to have a mask. This is bull, a mask is not required. I waited only 10 minutes in my line to get in to vote.

Pre-print your ballot and fill it out on your own time at home. Then, it makes voting incredibly easy, took me 2 minutes to fill in the bubbles. Just make sure you fill in the correct bubbles, don't rush it. Check it once, check it twice, and when your pen is on the circle, do one last check.

If you are in my area, I would be happy to do what I can to help you vote if that means watching your kid or what ever..... but honestly, that would be weird to do with a perfect stranger. But if you were in my district, I'd be happy to hang out in line with you at the BOE. Also, something to consider, I don't know how young your child is, but we have always (except for this year) taken our child to vote with us. We feel it is important to show him the process. He's 9 now and has voted in almost every election we have had. Consider taking your child and being a model for your child. You are doing the right thing.
