I lived in S.A. for 26 years.
It's an interesting city. Light blue compared to many major cities like Portland, Seattle, L.A., NYC, or even Austin.
Racial mix of mostly Hispanic, and a large White minority.
Many or most people are apolitical, and mostly care about the Spurs and Mexican food.
There are no Antifa/BLM types to speak of, compared to Austin.
Fairly close proximity to Mexico, but full of military bases, so much that it's called Military City USA, which adds a conservative balance, much like San Diego.
But there is some deep corruption and political patronage, much of it race-based.
Hispanics control the place.
