I could research and discuss climate changes effect on the spread of disease, the benefits of abortion, the impact cochlear implants have on the deaf community. I remember there were 2 other options that were also fucked.

I chose cochlear due to it being the least retarded thing to research and talk about. I could at least learn something interesting that actually exists.

I did of course piss off the liberal teacher by taking the position of: Its a good thing, deaf culture can and should die off. Who gives a fuck about it. Children should be raised with the ability to hear, even if its slightly weaker. If every deaf person receives implants and a few decades from now every deaf person dies of old age and with them their entire culture, I say that is a good thing.
