Inauguration hasn't happened yet, so the date for a civil war is still not here if one happens.

As to China, China can't instigate war (which would likely start with the invasion of Taiwan) until April next year due to the state of the waters around the region during this time of year. There is only a 3 month period a year where someone can sea invade Taiwan as a result. And China IS currently building up a large number of sea landers atm.

EDIT: If I remember correctly, Taiwan is currently sortieing fighters around 270 times a week due to aerial incursions by Chinese fighters atm. Which is keeping Taiwanese pilots tired and unable to get in training time or down time, wearing Taiwan's small airforce down.
