More of an Alexander nerd myself. No doubt the history is fascinating. The moment we have now to get this right is critical lest we follow similar fates like such empires as the Roman's. Obviously our founders wrote the constitution so that what they went through would never happen again. Unfortunately it has in many ways, we have the same chance now again. The question is, this time around, will we learn from our mistakes and really stomp out the corruption and ensure that it never has a chance to rise again for real this time.
