You guys are forgetting CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence.

As an example, 'Circumstantial evidence' allows you to convict someone for murder WITHOUT finding the 'body' or even getting a confession.

If enough strands of INCOMPLETE evidence can be cobbled together to paint a picture BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT then you've got yr crime and the crooks--lock, stock and barrell. Remember the key words..."beyond reasonable doubt". So all those incredible coincidences, crazy statistic warps etc, added on top of each other may be mathematically possible (i.e 'refutable') but its 1 in a billion. The jury/judge isn't being asked for 'perfect evidence', simply "beyond reasonable doubt." which so much of it already appears to be..

Admittedly this sort of thing takes time--beyond the Jan inauguration. So other matters would have to be settled. BUT if yr going ahead, and those charged know they'll be found guilty and sent away FOR LIFE--they usually plea bargain. BUT y need a functioning DOJ and FBI (i.e not corrupt) to pursue this-- unless of course the military get involved.
