I followed some leads and found a trove of documents related to dozens of congressmembers as recently as 11 months ago who were worried election software could be, or is, compromised in a way that endangers voters and fair elections. The topic link includes a video in which details ES&S executives apologizing to avoid having to admit they used public resource services hosted by Amazon to store election data that was publicly available for weeks because they forgot to make the server location private:

Chicago election data publicly stored

Notable moment: Guess who

Another article on the topic: Chicago Voter data

As the AP link explains,

A trio of companies — ES&S of Omaha, Nebraska; Dominion Voting Systems of Denver and Hart InterCivic of Austin, Texas — sell and service more than 90 percent of the machinery on which votes are cast and results tabulated. Experts say they have long skimped on security in favor of convenience, making it more difficult to detect intrusions such as occurred in Russia’s 2016 election meddling.

In 2019 this lead to congressmembers asking who was the funding companies and where they were holding investments. A committee headed by none other than Elizabeth Warren, along with Amy Klobuchar, Ron Wyden and Mark Pocan dug into their finances:

Senate Intelligence Committee

The 3-company election software monopoly was reckless enough that senators started to panic in December of last year: Congressional Oversight Committee

These congressmembers who today say we need to get over the election were just months ago accusing the trio of companies of being funded by the Chinese and producing outdated software that could be vulnerable to hacks:

Election software vulnerabilities

The big picture when you put it all together is that third party election software companies are in it for the money, they skimp on updating software and security features to reduce costs. These companies have investments outside of the US that can put them in situations of conflict of interest. In addition, Dominion is provided parts for their products from Chinese companies:

Chinese investments

That has led to calls for ES&S and its competitors, Denver-based Dominion Voting Systems and Austin, Texas-based Hart Intercivic, to reveal details about their ownership and the origins of the parts, some of which come from China, that make up their machines.

As you can see it isn't just Dominion Voting Systems, all outsourced voting software companies are in it for the money and we don't even know where the money is coming from or going. Senators know this is going on and have for months. The result is outdated software that introduces vulnerabilities and ignored safety precautions for the sake of cost reduction. These idiots running these companies aren't executives running a world class company, as you can see from the first video these guys look like they're way in over their head, trying to scrape together professionalism on a budget. The people in congress who know about this don't even care it's going on, but they sure are worried.

Additional articles proving Robert Mueller was digging into these same companies back during the muh Russia hoax:

Muh Russianz

So tell me one thing: why are few if any public officials worried about election software problems right now?
