Look, we all know how Kurt Russell votes, and that's great. But like many of the relatively few entertainers who espouse conservative values, they don't call themselves "Republicans." And they don't say they're "Conservatives" (the party), either.
Instead, they hide behind "libertarian" and "independent" labels, and in the case of Kurt Russell, actually feel obliged to point out that they're "not cool with" everything Trump says or does. Democrats/liberals OTOH, never apologize for supporting anyone on the left.
Until those fingered as conservative actually start fighting that liberal culture front and center, without apology, they might as well be on the other side.
