I'm a Romanian from Transylvania. The Magyars in Romania are called Székelys (whose name derives from frontier guards). And yes, we Romanians and the Hungarians here get along pretty well, at the end of the day we have more in common than not. Although Orban has caused some tensions, and those tensions are exacerbated by the cucked state of Romanian politics, where the Social Democrats (all ex commies) are the ruling party and so other major parties like the National Liberals have to rely on alliances with the UDMR (the political party of Hungarians in Romania) to get a majority in parliament. And so because of that the UDMR have insanely disproportionate political power because they essentially sell their votes to the highest bidder, in return for concessions in favour of stuff like increased autonomy. There was recently an incident which made national headlines where a Romanian school girl in a majority Székely region wore a Romanian flag to school (headband or something), and the school officials (Székelys) sent her home. That would be like an American kid sent home because he wore a t-shirt with an American flag to school.

But anyways, we get along fine with the Hungarians, but there are elements on both sides (but especially on the Hungarian side, though) that are trying to stir the pot and start shit.
