One of my books about international relations talked about how us new nationalists, despite our anti-globalist rhetoric, are extremely connected with each other all over the world, as we all root for each other against what we perceive as a common enemy.
And I believe this to be true, we maybe nationalists but we aren’t completely isolationist.
We just want a world that has a diverse array of countries that each have their own culture, values, and laws, were global diversity is high and every country you visit is unique.
No one wants to live in a world where every where has New York City demographics with buildings that look like they were designed by the people who work at google (You know what I’m talking about: the tacky colors, the weird anti-symmetrical shaped furniture and appliances, bing bags everywhere, weirdly shaped lamps, the nonsensical postmodern “art” that hangs on walls)

We just want a world that HAS borders, were global diversity is high because we don’t want a world where everyplace looks like New York City.
