I have told many people, those who will listen, that the Left will not come grabbing ALL guns at once. They will do it piecemeal over the span of a decade, maybe two. How they can accomplish this is:
They will pass widely accepted "Red Flag" type laws to target people they deem a danger to society, those designated mentally ill (anyone who takes medication), too old, people with any past criminal history, those with any domestic conflicts past and present, those on TDW who are "Internet Criminals"....................could be anything and everything.
It would be easy for the Leftists to get law enforcement to go to certain homes one at a time under false accusations/pretenses and take guns and ammo in small increments. No one in a neighborhood will think twice when law enforcement pulls up to their neighbors home and confiscates their weapons, as long as it isn't them. Problem is, one day it will be them! Are there enough people willing to defend their neighbors right to own weapons?
Piecemeal, the frog slowly boiling, death by a thousand cuts.......you get the picture. There will be no mass confiscation, but they will accomplish complete disarmament over time. This is their plan!
