1. They would be accountable to their clients.
2. They would compete in a competitive marketplace.
3. The would have the exact same rights and privileges as anyone else.
4. They would not be funded by unaccountable tax dollars.

People want security. People will pay for security. There would be a market for security if the state did not monopolize it with unaccountable politicized goons.
