I tried not to discuss politics with my family particularly because I understand my family has varying political opinions. After all, political candidates come and go but family is forever. Sometimes though, I just can’t stand my brother.

A vote by mail Democrat, he talks mad shit about Trump when prompted. He enjoys playing tit-for-tat between Trump and Democrat politicians. An idiot that would have preferred the use of rubber bullets over tear gas to disperse riots because tear gas might blind you or choke you. I normally let the shit go as I don’t obsess over everything Donald Trump says. The few times I have had to investigate incidents that would have shaken my faith, I discovered they were hogwash. I had taken to just rolling my eyes and wondering how terribly extrapolated the whole thing was.

That was until I learned he had voted, by mail, for Biden.

His recent spiel was about how Trump called for the FBI to stop investigating the violence between The Trump Train and The Biden Bus in Texas. I searched using key words and could not find crap, even CNN hadn’t covered it. I called him out on that and, rather than provide a link, he showed my the title of an article and the image was on Imgur. I tried using more key words and still found nothing and was about to call it photoshopped when I tried something crazy. I had to copy and paste the entire article title to find the source.

I found the article, it was by The Independent, and they had quoted a Trump tweet. Low and behold, it didn’t say he told the FBI to do anything. He had voiced his opinion that the Trump Train has done nothing wrong and that, instead, the FBI should be investigating Antifa and anarchists etcetera. After calling him out on not providing me with a link, I broke down that Trump didn’t actually tell the FBI not to investigate. He voiced his opinion to show support for his base and that such a public display, when we know there are private ways, should be obvious.

While I waited for his reply, I did a cursory research of The Independent and found that they compare themselves to The Guardian as competitors and that 5hey are a foreign news outlet. As I’m doing this, the fool sends my another link to UK Yahoo News and it presents me with the exact same story that is copied and pasted word-for-word. Realizing this, I ask if he even read past the first two sentences of my comment. He claims he did but, with a complete lack of any counter points to present, I doubt he did. He then tries to frame it as wrong and I have to reiterate that he didn’t do what the headline claimed, he fell for sensationalism.

He proceeded to abandon the discussion like a total freaking NPC and ignore my points. I later came here to learn more about this alleged attack. Discovered it was a Biden Harris vehicle trying to run a Trump supporter off the road and not the other way around. I’m not surprised but I am rather upset that, once again, I wasted time on a hoax.

I just felt like sharing this the day before I go out and vote tomorrow. God speed my fellow pedes and may the better Candidate win!
