Day 8-9: Results came back. COVID negative. I have a productive increasingly wheezy cough, likely bronchitis. Since the WBC count came back negative, it's not likely bacterial. I've already had the flu shot as well. Not sure what this is, but nobody else I know who received the vaccine is experiencing this. It could be a fluke. Multiple family members have had similar coughs lately who have not had the vaccine and also tested negative for COVID, so my current symptoms genuinely could be unrelated.

Day 7: I keep coughing a lot intermittently, and it's more productive than before. I decided to go to the doc. O2 sats are normal, BP normal. Auscultation revealed rales bilaterally, so they did a chest X-ray and labs. Normal x-ray, normal WBC count so unlikely to be of bacterial origin. They did a COVID test which I now have to wait 2-4 days for results.

Day 6: Still have an intermittent cough, might not be vaccine related. At night, I get into coughing spells. They're probably going to mandate I get another brain-tickle COVID test.

Day 5: I now have a recurring cough that's starting to make me wheeze. It could be totally unrelated to the vaccine, but that's what I have now. All the other symptoms are gone.

Day 4: I think the worst side effects are finally over. The injection side arm just feels a little weird at this point... like a light chill through it on occasion.

Glad the rest of the side effects are over, but I'm not looking forward to the 2nd shot.

Day 3: My lymph nodes are starting to get inflamed on the side I received the shot. The muscle soreness is gone, but I'm generally not feeling all that great. I can't really describe it... general malaise and mild nausea feeling. I wasn't able to eat as much today because of it. I'm also getting occasional chills and somewhat lightheaded at times.

Day 2: First night of sleep was awful. 3x worse than a flu vaccine in terms of muscle soreness, which would have been OK if it weren't for the weird chills/heat feeling on the injection arm. It was noticeable enough to wake me intermittently. It caused a tickle in the throat that stimulated tiny coughs, but that's dying down now after 24 hours.

I had no headache, but two other co-workers did. I've been kind of flushed on my appendages, but this is not typical based on the others who have taken it with me.

Day 1: I just want to report my side effects so far, not turn this into a long winded discussion about why I got it or if any of you should get it.

I got a little flushed / red during the initial 15 minute period. I'm still getting a little flushed intermittently, though not as much as initial. My arm hurts more than most flu shots. It also feels kind of like I have a tickle in the back of my throat - making me cough a little.

That's it so far. Will report back as things progress. Hopefully I don't get Bell's Palsy. LOL
