Personal note: I find myself surrounded my my hysterical mother and two sisters, who exhibit constant daily fear-fueled chatter, gossip, and worry about COVID. This is despite the fact they have already had the damn virus with mild symptoms! Now they are all hypochondriacs, steadily concerned with the COVID drama unfolding around them, and incessantly concerned with the lives of others.
Also, as a former teacher in k-12 schools, I can relate to the author's comments regarding educational environments, especially elementary ones. This guy is spot on! Both of my sisters are teachers and basically there job currently is to make sure children stay muzzled all day long even on the damn playground! Smh.
TLDR for the article: "This virus is not the problem. The reaction to the virus is the real issue. And that reaction is a direct result of the long war on masculinity that has left us with simpering cowards and female fools with their pudgy hands on the levers of office."
