Although, after listening to his full statement when he was asked not to deface the statues I don't feel much comfort. "I respect...I don't...I can respect the statues...w'ell people might burn this place down, not going to lie. So it might be too late for that". None the less, someone else busted the glass.

Sure as fuck seems like it. Take a step back 10 minutes from the above events and you'll see Suit1 essentially working with the photographers as if they were supposed to be there. Why didn't he secure them? Why wouldn't the photographers be put in a secure location and not just left up to themselves to "find an office" and told that "yeah, walk around, but find an office". Is that normal protocol for a quote unquote RiOt?

Question: Why would this Trump supporter asssume that John is going to deface anything? It appears that he doesn't even know the person.

Answer: Because he just witnessed John shatter the glass off camera. You can very clearly see him specifically address John with his request FOR THAT REASON. John, understanding that he has been correctly identified by a Trump supporter as the person smashing glass, assures the Trump supporter that he "can respect the statues" in order to not call further attention to himself. A normal response to this request would have been, "Don't deface the statues? I'm not going to deface anything man, why would you think that?" He responded the way he did because he realizes that the Trump supporter saw what he did.

I wonder what that Trump supporter would say if asked about what he witnessed.
