Ever since the pre-mid term social media purge, I realized how big the stakes were with social media and really the media in general. They are trying to control the follow of information, like the Chinese communists do.
Do not let them make you give up hope. They are trying to cut the lines of communication and we must proactively act against that. In part that means while I hope for the continued success of .win you must diversify. They will try to take .win down like they are coming after everything else and it's simply unwise to put all our eggs in one basket.
My recommendation is that you go make sure you are on Parler, Gab, MeWe, etc.. and not just for your sake but for the sake of others. I've seen a lot of new people pop up on these platforms and they are starting out with 1 or 2 friends. Facebook and Twitter hopes you will give up and go back to their platforms. By spending a few minutes on these alternatives following, commenting, etc... you are reminding people there they are not alone.
This is a war, and these are the battles. They want us to be unable to speak, unable to communicate, unable to have a voice. We can win through resistance but we must not be complacent.
If we can win this we can go on to achieve other things, but if we can no longer communicate they will have won.
