Trying to figure out if I want to change the context to 2021, or just make it the same contextually. Thoughts?

The thoughts contained in these pages may not be popular enough to make them acceptable by most people, something could have a superficial appearance of being right, just because it hasn’t overtly been deemed wrong, especially if that has been the understanding over a long period of time. When these things are challenged there’ll be an outcry because an attack is being made on a societal norm, but the tumult will soon subside. Time makes more converts than reason.
People have the right to call into question oppression, especially in terms of long and violent abuse of power (and the more aggravated the oppression the more things may be uncovered that are oppressive). When despots undertake their own rights or support legislative bodies rights and good people are oppressed by the combination of those groups, the people have ample privilege to inquire and reject this usurpation of both groups.
This is a universal document. Its purpose isn’t complimenting or censuring. Arguments about who is wise and who is worthy aren't going to be the topic of this document. If you like to argue who is wise or worthy or like to read things that inflate your ego on those matters, you should probably cease reading this document as it may be painful to be converted from your state.
The cause of America is largely the cause of all mankind. Physical violence against men, declaring war against man’s natural rights and laying waste to people who seek to defend men is the concern of ALL men whom God’s has blessed with humanity. This is my cause and I proclaim it without fear of censure by any political party or group.

Some writers confuse society and government and leave little to no distinction between them. They are not only different, but they have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness in a positive way by uniting our affections, the latter in a negative way by restraining our vices. One encourages harmony, the other distinctions. The first an advocate, the last a punisher.
